Relay Testing In The North Yard Signal House
Description:
This is a picture of me taken by my co-worker Ron Gowdy. I am testing a vital relay that is about to be installed in a relay rack located inside the North Yard signal house in Metro Transit's operations and maintenance facility yard area. This project expanded the facility wo service more light rail vehicles in anticipation of Green Line construction between St. Paul and Minneapolis. Perhaps it is a bit vain of me to post myself here, but I like the picture, and railfans seldom have the chance to observe what goes on behind the scenes to keep things running efficiently and safely.
